Jon has more than 25 years of experience in the wireless industry with a compilation of sales, business account management, sales and operations management. He has a proven track record to set and define both long and short-term goals, build strong, diverse teams and consistently meets performance expectations. He has extensive experience in regional, area and HQ that includes managing cross- functional teams to develop unified goals and leverage business synergies. His career has encompassed all the channel segments in the telecommunications industry (Retail, Call Center & Business).
Jon is the Vice President of Business Development at OneTouch Direct. He directs and supports the company's sales force effectiveness and oversees functions essential to sales productivity. Jon interacts directly with clients to provide high-quality customer service, while striving to build strong business relationships with existing clients to increase brand loyalty and generate more business. Additionally, he designs and delivers solutions for the sales team and provides members with guidance to meet relevant sales goals. Jons team creates effective sales strategies that use fewer company resources and maximize productivity.
Outside of OTD, Jon spent 17 years at Verizon Wireless, where his career focused on leading operational teams. He developed efficient and consistent planning & forecasting tools and enhancements designed to improve sales efficiencies and increase productivity in the Telesales channel. Jon owned all aspects of sales operations for all 5 of VZWs national call centers including the outsourced partners. He began his career in the wireless industry in 1995 with Bell Atlantic Mobile and over the course of his career Jon used his experience to develop personnel, drive results, implement operational efficiencies and grow the opportunities of the Telesales channel. Jon has a passion for driving the employee and customer experience and believes that creating a strong, loyal employee base translates to happy and loyal customers.
Jon has a BA in Civil Engineering Westchester Community College and has been Certified in Achieve for Success, Behavioral Coaching and Psychology of Selling.
